We believe that the Scriptures of the Old and New Testament are the Word of God, fully inspired and without error in the original manuscripts, and the infallible rule of faith and practice. The Bible is the final authority on all matters to which it speaks.

We believe there is only one God, Creator and Lord of everything, and eternally existent in three persons (The Trinity): Father, Son and Holy Spirit.

God is all-powerful, all-knowing, ever-present, and completely perfect and good in every way. 

The Father

We believe the Father mercifully concerns himself in the affairs of all men, that He is loving and good towards all He has made. We believe the Father hears and answers prayer and He saves from sin all those who come to Him through His Son Jesus Christ.

The Son

We believe that Jesus Christ is God’s only son and is the expression of God in human form. We believe Jesus was conceived by the Holy Spirit, was born of a virgin, and was fully God and fully man. We believe Jesus lived in sinless perfection and atoned for our sins through his death on the cross. We believe in the bodily resurrection of Jesus from the dead, and that in doing so, He is forever victorious over the curse of sin and death. We believe Jesus ascended into Heaven and will return to earth to gather His people and reign with them forever as King of Kings and Lord of Lords.

The Holy Spirit

We believe the Holy Spirit is fully God and is dwelling in all those who have put their faith in Jesus.  We believe the Holy Spirit has been sent into our hearts to comfort us, counsel us, convict us toward righteousness, correct us from unrighteousness, convince us of our identity as God’s children, connect us to God in prayer, and commission us for ministry. The Holy Spirit empowers the believer with spiritual gifts for the purpose of serving God by being His witness, building His church, and blessing His people.

We believe that mankind was created to live in a vital relationship with God, and was created in the image of God with dignity and great value. However, we believe mankind fell into sin by breaking God’s moral law and rebelled against Him. As a consequence, we are all under condemnation, being sinners both by nature and choice. 

We believe God, in his mercy and goodness, sent His son Jesus to be an atoning sacrifice for our sins. We believe the blood Jesus shed on the cross has covered the sin of those who put their trust in Him through faith, and they are declared righteous before God. 

We believe true salvation:

• Does not come from our good deeds—it is a free gift that can never be earned or deserved.

• Is only through the name and provision of Jesus Christ, and there is no other way for mankind to be saved.

• Secures those truly saved in Jesus Christ and seals them with the Holy Spirit.

• Cannot be lost or taken once given to you.

• Allows those who have trusted Christ to reign with Him and inherit eternal blessing, and that those who have not placed their trust in Him will reap eternal judgment.

We believe the Church has both a universal expression, which is comprised of all those who believe in Christ as their Lord and Savior, and a local expression, which is comprised of believers who are called together for the purpose of worshiping God and making disciples.
